“No man on earth has ever loved a woman more than I love you.”

Not every man wants to be the hero. Tobias King chose to be a villain. Thief, outlaw, and ruthless leader of a group of vigilantes, mirroring his enemies was the only way he saw himself fulfilling his mission. Until Cecelia Horner arrived, and effortlessly unraveled a plan he spent years devising. In the end, she did something even more damning, she left him. Maybe that should have been the end of their story, but despite his every attempt, Tobias can’t let her go. In seeking forgiveness, he’ll quickly learn that the girl he helped shape with heartache and deception is now a woman and a reckoning force who won’t be so easily won. But this self-professed villain isn’t so easily deterred and will do whatever it takes to win her back. Even if he has to confront everything in his past, including enemies he never reckoned with, to do it.

I have to be honest and say that this was just an ok read for me. For a large portion of this story, I was bored… and I quite honestly feel that I would have been just fine having read the first two books in the trilogy. This third instalment felt like a recap of everything that I had already read. For die hard fans, I’m sure they would love more insight into Tobias’s POV, and what he went through when he was away from his woman. On the whole for me though, I would have preferred to get more Romance in this book, and more good times between our main characters… mainly because I felt that has also lacked in the first two instalments as well.

I rated this novel 3.5 stars. I think I would have loved the story more if she would have ended up with either Dom or Sean. I didn’t ever get to like Tobias, so I think that was the main reason this finale fell flat for me. She ended up with the wrong guy.
