“I know you know I love you. What you may not know is that there is nothing I want more than to be your husband. But if you’re not ready, I’ll wait for you, Pigeon. I’m not going anywhere. I mean, yeah. I want this, but only if you do. I just . . . I need you to know that you can open this door and we can walk down the aisle, or we can get a taxi and go home. Either way, I love you.”
This is the final book of the Beautiful Disaster series. Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret . . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)
Sadly, I did not like this book in the slightest. It didn’t add anything to story, nothing substantial. I was thinking, that perhaps, it would have been better if I didn’t know that there was actually another reason—hidden agenda as to why Abby sprung marriage to Travis that day. I liked the reason that they did it because their ceasing the moment. Young love, irrational decision. Get the gist? Now that I knew it was just partly the reason, it kind of made a little less solid to me. Sure, they’re still together, but I don’t know it wasn’t, hmm, for the want of better word, sincere. I actually felt sorry for Travis that it wasn’t…whole? Abby always annoyed me a bit, but she really pissed me off in this story.
I gave this novel a 2.5-star rating. Honestly, I could have just skipped this book and been done with the series on the second. It just seemed unnecessary. It’s a miss for me.
