This was a cozy romance that want to cuddle up with by the fireplace or when it’s raining outside! I really liked this one! All I could picture was this being about J.K.Rowling the entire time!

Emily Allen, a librarian on Martha’s Vineyard, has always dreamed of a life filled with travel and adventure. So when her favorite author, Siobhan Riordan, offers her a job in Ireland, Emily eagerly seizes the opportunity. After all, Siobhan’s novels helped Emily through some of the darkest days of her life.

The only downfall is working with Siobhan is dealing with her cranky bookworm son, Kieran Murphy. They have a lot of moments of not liking each other and some funny run-ins that I was just waiting for the chemistry between them to explode.

Emily’s job involved a half day in the book store with Kieran and then the afternoon writing with Siobhan. Siobhan’s health was the one thing that motivated her to write the final book. Everyone has waited YEARS for this final book and so even Emily is excited for the conclusion. Kieran was just worried about his mom’s health and was always trying to be a roadblock to their progress.

I loved the bookstore characters and how everyone interacted. I think the side characters were just as fun as the main characters. This one has one of my favorite romance tropes of enemies to lovers and forced proximity. I was rooting for these two characters the whole time. This was a charming romance that is easy to read. There isn’t many open door scenes, so if your looking for some feel good romance this is for you!
