Once upon a time…
There lived a man with a vengeance-filled heart that held too many secrets.
And a woman, pure of soul, intent on uncovering them.
What they failed to realize is that through the storm their love would create… A legacy.

One Last Rainy Day: The Legacy of a Prince is a spin off of the Ravenhood Series. All books need to be read in series order: Flock, Exodus, and The Finish Line.

I’m not sure if my hopes were too high, but I didn’t love the book until about 70% through. Some major parts I loved were skimmed over, including the lake scene. While it was mentioned I would have loved to have read it in Dom’s perspective. To me, the writing didn’t feel like Dom and I struggled with it a lot throughout the story. The ending was chaotic but a perfect fit, and I loved how we got to have more of Delphine. Of course the scene we all dreaded rereading was in it and it was just as soul crushing the second time. Nonetheless still a good read if you loved the series.

I rated this novel a 3.5 stars. Though it was good and I do recommend it, it was easily outshined by the others in the series. I would however recommend reading right away. There was a lot of scenes in the book that referenced what was going on in Flock, but I was not able to remember exactly what had happened and had to research that point in Flock to be able to understand what I was reading in this one.
