This is one of those absurdly funny books that you can’t NOT like!
Charlie is in a rut. He is divorced and lives in a house that his siblings are trying to get him out of so that they can sell it. He lives with his cat. Other than his cat, he doesn’t have much going for him. Besides his compulsion to get a loan to own a pub.
Then his uncle dies and leaves him a business, of sorts. Charlie’s new career is in the supervillain business. This book gets crazier and better the further you get. The cats are the smart ones. Although some might say the dolphins are since they are unionized! LOL But the island he is on is fun and wild.
The characters in this one are all surprising and there isn’t a dull moment. I didn’t know what to expect with this one but you do need to suspend disbelief when going into this one. The only sad thing was that the dogs are like the dumb blondes of their animal hierarchy. But with this cute cover, a cat in a suit….who can resist an fun book like this one.
