This is the first book in The Cheat Sheet series and all these could be read as stand alone books but some of the characters will be in all the books. The main ones in this book will be side characters in future books so it’s fun to hear how their story progresses through other characters. I read the 2nd book first, not knowing this was a series.

Bree Camden & Nathan Donelson are best friends who are in love with each other…..only neither knows how the other feels. They have stayed firmly in the friend zone for years. Bree plays the good best friend and runs with Nathan in the morning and is at his beck and call when he needs her. She is ready to make is breakfast shake at 5am when he is training.

On the flip side, Nathan makes sure all of Bree’s needs are taken care of. When her landlord tried to raise her rent, Nathan stepped in and “took care of it.” And when they eat, he pays so she doesn’t have to worry about money. He doesn’t want her knowing he pays for all the things he does, so he does all this on the sly because of how much he cares for her.

So one morning when she comes in and Nathan’s girlfriend is less than impressed that Bree has come over to his apartment BEFORE they got out of bed, she makes Nathan chose between her or Bree. I can’t remember the GF’s name so that should be pretty explanatory. Sooo…now that Nathan is single and Bree is single – how will they get together?

Well, Nathan’s football bros decided to help him with this in the form of a “cheat sheet” to win Bree over. And Bree is feeling like she needs to say something to Nathan so on a night when they are all out and drinking, she drinks a few too many and ends up in the bathroom with a reporter saying A LITTLE BIT TOO MUCH.

This one was so good with witty banter and great characters. I loved this one as much as the second one & I loved the 2nd one! So after you read this one, you will want to definitely read the 2nd book in this series! This is a fun, light romance with just the right amount of spice. I am officially a Sarah Adams fan!
