If you are having trouble falling asleep, this is the book for you. What a snooze fest! I can’t believe how highly this book has been rated! It was definitely not my cup of tea. Auch a neat idea and concept, but so poorly delivered. In chapter one, Wallace is an asshole. Plain and simple. He sucks. Then in chapter two he miraculously gets a personality transplant and becomes a saint. Then don’t even get my started on the insta-love! There is absolutely no chemistry. There is no reason why they should even like each other, but BOOM! They are suddenly secretly in love. And this is all supposed to happen over the course of a week? I just don’t buy any of it and I don’t like the characters and it fell so flat for me that I’m mad at this point.
It should be no surprise that I gave this novel a one star rating. I tried and I just couldn’t connect with this book. It was so boring I nearly slept through the entire thing. It was almost like a broken record, playing over and over again without anything new or exciting to somehow save it from being dull and tedious.
