Taylor Adams does it again! He just dives right in so that the book is jam packed to the rim with suspense and thriller. This was a tense little thriller, about a serial killer, who uses people as target practice. And he’s a damn good shooter, too. The characters are the standout. I truly loved this couple. Adams does such a good job of making them instantly recognizable and likeable. I love the nerdy salesman who uses his brain to outsmart a killer. The woman being a damsel in distress thing is often frustrating, but the wife does hold her own in this at times. The back story to the husband will always be the point in which I loved this book.
I gave this novel a solid four stars. Thrillers typically end up having very similar endings, but Adams manages to pack his writing full of twists and turns that still leave you wondering how his characters will survive until you’ve turned the last page. Buckle up for this wild ride.
