“The day people stopped thinking they could change someone who didn’t want to be changed was the day fewer hearts got broken.”

In this fourth and final novel of the Twisted Love series, Stella is a literally ball of sunshine who is a social media influencer. In order to build her brand, she decides that she needs a fake boyfriend. Enter Christian—the owner of her apartment building and a rich businessman.  Christian is dark, and quiet who basically only likes one person. And that’s Stella. He becomes obsessed so quick and would do anything for her. Even pretend to have her.

This is the fourth and final book of this series! Finally! I am done with these. I was hoping and hoping that they would get better and better but man, these series are WAY over hyped. This one really dragged on since it was over 500 pages. Now that I’ve completed the twisted series, I know that I will not be reading any more books written by this author. I simply don’t enjoy the way the characters are written, the plots, or writing itself. Her writing is just not for me. I love a good smut book, but the dynamic in this book just did not work. There were so many small parts of the book that I noticed and just really hated. Such as Christian telling Stella he doesn’t want any men looking at her, or touching her. And if they do, Christian will kill them. Christian also wants to be able to touch Stella, and if he can’t; then he will die. Those are his exact words. So, I don’t know if that was meant to be attractive or romantic, but honestly— it just sounded like manipulation, possessiveness, and obsession to me. This is just ONE of the MANY small issues there were with this relationship, power dynamic, and book as a whole.

I gave this novel a three star rating. Overall, I didn’t hate it. It was just never ending. There was absolutely NO communication between the two but yet, she trusted him completely. She knows absolutely NOTHING about him and refuses to even ask him questions. This book was just too dysfunctional for me.
