“He’s the Devil, Zahra. Well, that explains why Eve fell for his tricks. If the Devil looked half as good as Rowan, I’d eat the damn apple, too. Screw the consequences.”

Rowan Kane is the youngest of the three Kane brothers who are set on inheriting Dreamland, a Disneyland-like theme park. When he stepped in as the director of the park it was his plan to renovate it. What he did not plan on was Zahra. A stark contrast to Rowan’s serious and demeanor, Zahra is full of excitement and has a smile that lights up the room. She may be his opposite, but she also is his ticket to getting what he wants. They we’re always destined to be together although no one sees it coming. Fate. Worked in the most epic way possible. Their attraction is evident but their mind and heart are on guard, constantly waiting for the shoe to drop and blocking their emotions.

I can’t believe I held off on reading this book despite all the good reviews. Dreamland is low key Disney World, and I’m 100% a Disney adult! This was such a cute book. Rowan is everything. Starts off as that grumpy billionaire, and then turns to mush thanks to Zahra. I loved seeing the change in Rowan. It didn’t happen abruptly either. I like how the author showed his change over time. It was genuine. Zahra was awesome! Strong willed, independent and just awesome. She puts faith in people but knows when to stick up for herself. I loved the different story line. Different from what I normally read. The amusement park theme was great. I loved the plot twist that the grandfather put on the brothers and dad. Makes for a good story line! The epilogue and extended epilogue were perfect too!

I gave this novel a four star rating. Any novel that will have a sexy man get my favorite authors to do a book signing for me… It’s a keeper! This book was a delight. I loved the little references to Disney! This was my first Lauren Asher book and to say it went far beyond my already high expectations is an understatement.
