A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon is a paranormal romance and is a delightful blend of laughter, intelligence, and entertainment! Meet Mariel Spark, a young witch who, yet to unlock her full potential, tends to her plants while enduring her ultra-narcissistic mother. One day, a simple spell gone wrong accidentally summons a powerful demon determined to strip her of her magic and soul.

Enter a brooding and charismatic demon with a surprising connection to human emotions. Facing a final chance to prove his worth to his mentor, he decides to lure the powerful witch and claim her soul. The story weaves enemies-to-lovers, force proximity, and fake relationship tropes seamlessly, all while incorporating environmental messages.

Mariel Spark was destined to be the strongest witch in generations, according to the wind, the earth, and the stars. However, she struggles to reach her potential. A spell gone awry brings Ozorth, the ruthless demon, into her kitchen. Unable to banish him until she agrees to exchange her soul for a favor, Mariel finds herself entangled in a web of magic and emotions.

Contrary to expectations, Ozorth is not the heartless demon he appears to be. He enjoys devouring spaghetti, supports protests for a safe ecosystem, cracks jokes, and spends time with Mariel’s best friends. Likewise, Mariel sees beyond his demonic exterior, finding Ozorth to be the sweetest, smartest, and quirkiest enigma.

To protect Mariel’s reputation and hide her magical mishap from her mother, they keep Ozorth’s true identity a secret. What begins as a pretend relationship soon evolves into something more profound. Will Ozorth sacrifice his mission for the enchanting witch who has captured his heart? The story unfolds with a captivating mix of magic, humor, and unexpected romance.

This was a fun one with a trope that I usually like. The enemies to lovers was a hit in this one. The cast of characters was witty and the plot had me turning pages to see what was going to happen.
