Adeline Reilly is an author who has inherited her family home, Parsons Manor, passed down from several generations. During an Incident Addy finds her great grandmother’s diary’s and reversals secrets and a key to her great grandmother’s murder. While investigating, what Addy is oblivious to is what lurks in the shadows. Her stalker. Zade first sees Addy at one of her book signings and is instantly addicted to her. He is so much more than a stalker. He is highly Intelligent, a hacker, vigilante, gets what he wants, and never forgets his failures; he takes it very close to heart. And he wants her….

When I first started this book, I was almost ashamed to say how much I was obsessed and addicted to this! Something must be wrong with me to fall in love with someone who legit stalks and attacks her. All to force her into making her his…. but Oh My Gawd! I want all of it! This book wrecked me! I loved everything about this story; the chemistry, the suspense, the dark depravity, the dub con. And then the romance that blooms from the darkest of places where you know it’s wrong but it just feels so right. Suffice it to say I absolutely loved it and eagerly anticipating book two.

I have this a huge 5 star review. I’ve never read anything remotely similar to this book and I don’t know that I ever will. This was my first time reading something truly as dark as this. I’ve read other books with heavy triggers, but this book was different. I read Satan’s Affair beforehand (highly recommend reading that first) and I wasn’t entirely sure what this book was going to be about. I knew a past murder, stalking, and love were involved, but that was it. If you had told me one of my top reads from 2023 would’ve been a stalker romance, I would’ve laughed in your face. Not only is the romance epic, and the spice is off the charts sexy, but the overarching story is just too good to pass up.
