“She’s not what I was expecting. But she’s everything I f*cking want.”

Lottie just got fired from her job, by her “best friend” Angela. Problem is, nobody besides Lottie’s sister Kelsey can know that she got fired. Lottie is desperate to find a new job, move out of her parents house, and pay all her debts. Therefore Lotta decides to go for a run on a rich neighborhood as a joke. Huxley has always been a business man first. He and his two other brother’s own a successful business together. Huxley wanted to make a deal with another business man, Dave, but Dave is a connection, and trust type business guy. So later on when Huxley spots Dave and his pregnant fiancé, he quickly decides to tell Dave that his “fiancé” is pregnant too. Problem is just that not only is Huxley’s fiancé not pregnant, she’s also nonexistent. While Lottie was searching for a husband, they bump into each other and decide that they should make a contract that would benefit both parties…

I don’t remember when the last time I laughed out loud to a rom-com book! Which makes me so happy that this book made me laugh numerous times! The banter was incredibly funny and the best I have ever read. It was so realistic, funny and smart that, it became my favorite thing about the book. I don’t want to give too much spoilers so I will keep it simple, but the double dates they went with Dave and Ellie… the pregnancy classes… I can’t even count the times I giggled and kicked my feet. This book sucked me in so fast, I could not put it down.

No shocker that I gave this novel five stars. I just absolutely loved these characters together. I could just feel their happiness flowing through me at that ending. Cheesy? Maybe a little bit. I personally didn’t mind at all. Has major Pretty Woman vibes. What woman can resist that?
