The is book#3 of the Cane Brothers series. A witty take on a romantic comedy classic, My Best Friend’s Wedding. Steamy, laugh-out-loud, and full of charm, these two best friends heat up the pages while proving true love might be right in front of you.

This is the friends to lovers trope. This is Breaker & Lia’s story. The story starts out with Lia being engaged to someone else. Breaker is her best friend that lives next door and they share a bedroom wall. They hang out regularly and are each other’s person. So when Lia needs a maid of honor, or “man of honor,” Breaker takes on the role. He didn’t realize his feelings for her until after she got engaged so he just has to bide his time until she realizes her true feelings. He goes to all the wedding planning events under the guise of being her man of honor and aiding in all her wedding crisis’s. Breaker also takes on helping Lia deal with her “Monster-In-Law” when she gets too controlling.

The friends to lovers trope is not my favorite sub-genre of the romance genre, but this one was done so well that I did really enjoy this one. I was rooting for Lia and Breaker. I really enjoyed hearing about their history. The little previews we get were funny and sweet. I laughed and swooned during this one. Quinn is the queen of witty banter. I recommend the whole series. I loved all the books in this series.
