This is a classic JoJo Moyes touching, heartwarming, & funny story. This premise, although a little far fetched, did grab me and had me wondering how a shoe swap could be such a life changing event.

Nisha is a rich wife & mother. Her son is away at school in America. And her husband suddenly leaves her with nothing. He locks her out of her home & accounts so she only has the bag she left the gym with, which isn’t even hers.

Sam is a mom of an older teen daughter and her husband is suffering from depression after losing his father & his job. So she’s just trying to support her family and stay sane the best she can. She goes to a gym and accidentally grabs someone else’s bag when rushing out the door after her mean boss calls. She has to rush to a packed client day with what’s in the bag.

Sam is in possession of a one of a kind pair of Christian Louboutins and Nisha is lost without them. The characters in this just add to the hilarity of the situation. I couldn’t stop reading because I had to know why these shoes were so special. Was their purpose to bring people together and create unlikely friendships? Was it something nefarious or nothing at all. I had to know and you will too once you start this one. It’s really about friendship, family, and hope.
