Romance fans, hold on to your hat for this steamy romance! The Spanish Love Deception will have you hooked from the start! Who doesn’t love and enemies to lover’s trope.

Catalina Martin needs a date for her sister’s wedding. Her family in Spain thinks she has a boyfriend. So, when it’s crunch time and her sister’s wedding is days away, she needs a plan, so she won’t have to face her Ex and the pitying looks of her friends and family.

Enter Aaron Blackford, who is a Clark Kent look-alike. He is tall, dark, and handsome. But to Catalina, he is a coworker who is annoying and was once very rude to her. He has troubles with showing his emotions and rarely talks to his coworkers.

I didn’t like how Aaron was portrayed as such a jerk and an introvert and then at her family event he was all charming and graceful. It didn’t seem realistic at all. I did enjoy the smutty romance scenes that were closer to the end. This is a perfect light, breezy beach read. The characters might not be the most realistic, but it is a perfect escapist type story. It was pretty predictable, but I still enjoyed hearing about the Spanish scenery. This is for fans of The Love Hypothesis, without the science.
