Goodreads vs. StoryGraph

I have been using Goodreads since 2015 so it’s hard to imagine switching. But I’ve heard so much buzz lately about Storygraph that I think I am going to give it a 30 day trial to see if I would like that as well or more than Goodreads. Is it even possible for such a creature of habit like myself to make the switch??

I’d like to hear your thoughts and experiences with either of these apps and what your preference is!

For those of you not familiar with one or both of these. I will give a little “About” below on both of these. They can both be used as an app or opened through a website. Both are used for Tracking Books. Both provide book information in differing detail. Both make use of Community Reviews in different ways.

GOODREADS –

Goodreads is a website or app for book lovers. With a Goodreads account, you can keep track of the books you’ve read, the books you’re reading, and the books you want to read. You can also follow friends and authors to see what they’re reading, leave reviews, and comment on reviews written by others.

Goodreads also provides book recommendations.

You can set annual reading goals and view the progress.

You can organize your books in folders.

There are unlimited amounts of reading groups to join and interact.
