The Quiet Tenant gives us a new take on serial killers that will make you think twice of the quiet, nice guy. The premise of this one hooked my right away. This was about a serial killer told from the perspective of his 13 year old daughter, his girlfriend, and the one that got away!

Meet Aidan Thomas, the friendly guy-next-door in a cozy upstate New York town. He’s the one who’s always ready to help out and share a smile with everyone. But here’s the twist: behind his warm facade lies a chilling secret. Aidan isn’t just a regular family man; he’s a kidnapper and a serial killer.

In the quiet of his town, Aidan has taken the lives of eight women, and now, there’s a ninth victim, Rachel, trapped in his backyard shed, living in fear of her life. After Aidan’s wife dies, they are forced to move so does Rachel get to go with or will he make her his victim also?

Then Emily comes into the picture. She is an owner of a local restaurant in town that Aiden frequents. She has had a crush on him for a while so she tries hard to get his attention and to flirt with him. I kept screaming at her and her dumb determination to date him.

This one had me turning the pages to see what was going to happen. I knew it could only be a matter of time before Rachel messed up or Aiden somehow messed up and I just HAD to know how it was going to happen! I mean, how long can you keep someone after you kidnap them?
