Not a favorite. Grateful it was only 43 pages. This short romance novella was unusual. Normally I don’t mind the non-linear timeline but felt this novella didn’t need it. This felt like it was missing A LOT to actually make the story work. The romance was a bit all over the place. I was initially confused who the love interest even was, which isn’t the best feeling while reading a novella. Too much was going on, making it hard to feel any sort of connection in such few pages.
I ended up giving this novella a three star rating. It was just mehhh.
