“The Rose Code” is a must-read for fans of historical fiction. Follow three women as they navigate the challenges of World War II and uncover a deadly secret. Quinn is the master at creating a story and characters based off of true events.

If you’re a fan of historical fiction, “The Rose Code” is a novel you won’t want to miss. Set during World War II, the book follows the lives of three women who work together to crack a deadly code that could change the course of the war. With richly drawn characters and a gripping plot, “The Rose Code” is a must-read for anyone who loves a good historical novel.

“The Rose Code” features three main characters: Osla, Mab, and Beth. Osla is a wealthy debutante who works at Bletchley Park, the top-secret codebreaking center in England. Mab is a working-class girl who is also employed at Bletchley Park, and Beth is a shy and reserved young woman who is recruited to work there. Together, the three women form a close bond as they work to uncover the deadly code and navigate the challenges of wartime England in 1940. Each character brings a unique perspective and skillset to the story, making for a rich and engaging read.

In “The Rose Code,” the royal wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 1947 serves as a backdrop to the main plot. The story follows three friends who have become enemies, forced to work together to uncover the identity of the person who betrayed their country and left one of them institutionalized. Will they be able to identify their enemy before it’s too late?

Kate Quinn writes characters that make you wish you could become friends with them. The Rose Code is one of her best novels yet. Even in the bleak worn-torn setting, Quinn brings out a romantic story that can seem glamourous. If I were to ever fall in love with a character, Quinn knows how to write them, as she did with Francis. I highly recommend this book for fans of historical fiction who have enjoyed Quinn’s previous books.
