Carl’s chaotic adventure continues in Carl’s Doomsday Scenario, and somehow this series gets even more absurd in the best possible way. This second installment fully embraces the over-the-top madness of Dungeon Crawler World, and I can absolutely see why this series has such a huge following.
The humor is nonstop, the action is wildly entertaining, and every chapter leaves you wondering what insane thing could possibly happen next. Between an undead circus, raining prostitutes, mysterious dark magic, and Carl still somehow not having pants, this book is pure chaotic fun.
Princess Donut continues to steal scenes with her hilarious commentary, and the entire world is so vivid that I could picture everything playing out like a movie or TV series in my head. Honestly, I really hope this series has already been optioned because I would absolutely watch the heck out of it.
If you love dark humor, ridiculous scenarios, nonstop action, and characters you can’t help but root for, this series is such a fun ride. I’m officially hooked and already excited to see what kind of insanity Carl and Donut get thrown into next.
