“Hating someone feels disturbingly similar to being in love with them.”

Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman hate each other. Not dislike. Not begrudgingly tolerate. Hate. And they have no problem displaying their feelings through a series of ritualistic passive aggressive maneuvers as they sit across from each other, executive assistants to co-CEOs of a publishing company. Lucy can’t understand Joshua’s joyless, uptight, meticulous approach to his job. Joshua is clearly baffled by Lucy’s overly bright clothes, quirkiness, and Pollyanna attitude. Now up for the same promotion, their battle of wills has come to a head and Lucy refuses to back down when their latest game could cost her her dream job…But the tension between Lucy and Joshua has also reached its boiling point, and Lucy is discovering that maybe she doesn’t hate Joshua. And maybe, he doesn’t hate her either. Or maybe this is just another game.

This was such an awesome read! I’m not exaggerating when I’m saying this was one of the favorite, entertaining enemies to lovers story I’ve read so far this year. Lucy and Josh’s story was fun, sweet and so well done. They were fun and enchanting and I couldn’t read fast enough to find out who will win a certain game or how their relationship will unfold. I honestly was not sure how the ending was going to play out.

No shocker, this one was a five star read! If you are looking for a fun, sweet enemies to lovers story, with two engaging, well developed main characters and delightful dialogue, don’t hesitate and pick this one up! Joshua Templeman will forever remain the main blueprint for my perfect man. I cannot wait for more releases from this author. I think she’ll become quite a heavy-hitter in the romance genre if she keeps up this level of work.
